I concur in the result. Arrearage for child support may be offset only by credit for amounts actually expended by the obligated parent for support of the minor child. Ricks v. Ricks, 515 So.2d 26 (Ala.Civ.App.1987; Weaver v. Weaver, 401 So.2d 77 (Ala.Civ.App.1981). Here, the trial court, in effect, offset one judgment in favor of the mother against another judgment.
