with whom COX, Senior Judge, joins (concurring in the result):

I would resolve this case on Issue I. For the reasons set out in my dissent in United States v. Rodriguez, 54 MJ 156, 162 (2000), I would hold that the military judge erred by admitting appellant’s admissions to Lt Hill. Because I believe that appellant’s conversations with Lt Hill should have been protected as privileged communications, I cannot join in holding that appellant’s defense counsel was ineffective for permitting him to talk to Lt Hill.
