JENKINS et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with this civil rights 18 action seeking relief pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. He alleges that defendant conducted multiple, 19 retaliatory searches of his cell in 2019, in violation of the First and Eighth Amendments. (See 20 ECF No. 22.) On August 24, 2023, the undersigned issued findings and recommendations 21 recommending that defendant’s motion for summary judgment be granted. (ECF No. 112.) Any 22 objections to the findings and recommendations were due on or before September 13, 2023. (Id.) 23 On September 13, 2023, plaintiff filed a motion for extension of time to file objections to 24 the August 24 findings and recommendations.1 (ECF No. 114.)
