ORDER 14 COMISSIONER OF SOCIAL SECURITY, 15 Defendant. 16 17 18 Pursuant to the parties’ stipulation (ECF No. 25), the Court awards Plaintiff attorney fees 19 || in the amount of $6,700.00. The award of attorney fees will satisfy all of Plaintiff's claims for 20 || fees, costs, and expenses under 28 U.S.C. § 2412 in this case. Any fees paid belong to Plaintiff 21 | and not his attorney and can be offset to satisfy pre-existing debt that the litigant owes the United 22 || States under Astrue v. Ratliff, 130 S. Ct. 2521 (2010). Fees shall be made payable to Plaintiff, 23 || but if the Department of the Treasury determines that Plaintiff does not owe a federal debt, then 24 || the government shall cause the payment of fees, expenses and costs to be made directly to 25 || Counsel, pursuant to the assignment executed by Plaintiff.
