1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 9 EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 10 11 SAFE ALTERNATIVES FOR OUR No. 2:23-cv-01940-DJC-DMC FOREST ENVIRONMENT, a California 12 non-profit corporation; KLAMATH FOREST ORDER APPROVING SETTLEMENT ALLIANCE, a California non-profit AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND 13 corporation; and CONSERVATION STIPULATION OF DISMISSAL CONGRESS, a California non-profit 14 corporation. 15 Plaintiffs, 16 v. 17 RACHEL BIRKEY, in her official capacity as Forest Supervisor of the Shasta-Trinity 18 National Forest; and the UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE, 19 Defendant. 20 21 Plaintiffs and Defendants have reached a settlement in the above-captioned matter and 22 filed a Settlement Agreement, Release and Stipulation of Dismissal (Settlement Agreement). 23 Having reviewed and considered the Settlement Agreement and good cause appearing, the Court 24 concludes that entering an Order of Dismissal, consistent with Paragraphs 6 and 15 is 25 appropriate. 26 /// 27 /// 1 Accordingly, 2 IT IS ORDERED that the parties’ Settlement Agreement is approved and is hereby 3 incorporated into this Order; 4 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Court shall retain jurisdiction to enforce the 5 Settlement Agreement, see Kokkoen v. Guardian Life Ins.
