The issues to be briefed and argued are limited to the following: Did the prosecution's expert witness relate inadmissible case-specific hearsay to the jury by using a drug database to identify the chemical composition of the drug defendant possessed? Did substantial evidence support defendant's conviction for possession of a controlled substance ( Health & Saf. Code, § 11375, subd. (b)(2) )?
