On May 1, 1981 the court awarded attorneys’ fees to Jerry C. Strauss of $40,000 to be paid out of the judgment of the Blackfeet Tribe and $209,498.70 to be paid out of the judgment in favor of the Oros Ventre Tribe. John M. Schiltz was awarded $217,001.30 to be paid out of the judgment in favor of the Assiniboine Tribe.
