[*1]The People of the State of New York, respondent,

    v

    Lloyd Thompson, appellant.

Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Caitlin Halpern of counsel), for appellant.

Eric Gonzalez, District Attorney, Brooklyn, NY (Leonard Joblove, Joyce Slevin, and Daniel Berman of counsel), for respondent.

    DECISION & ORDER

Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Bruce M. Balter, J.), imposed May 10, 2017, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of the sentence was excessive.

ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant's contention, the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of the sentence was not excessive (see People v Suitte , 90 AD2d 80).

DILLON, J.P., AUSTIN, ROMAN, MALTESE and CHRISTOPHER, JJ., concur.
