Per curiam.

No fet-off can be allowed in this cafe. The fuit is on a policy which the plaintiff effeited, as a mere truf-tee, for a charitable fociety in Scotland, and the cafe warrants us in concluding this was known to the defendant when he fubferibedthe policy.
