concurring:

The record in this case reveals no sentencing transcript or pre-sentence report which might explain the apparently harsh sentence received by appellant. On remand, the sentencing court should state, on the record, its reasons for sentencing and should consider the pre-sentence investigation which was ordered on July 1, 1981, but was not made a part of the record. See Commonwealth v. Riggins, 474 Pa. 115, 377 A.2d 140 (1977).
