¶22 (concurring) — Of course, the majority opinion correctly applies the current rule of law. I write separately simply to point out that Larry Allen Powell will spend the rest of his life in prison at great expense to the taxpayers of this state following a minor theft and a scuffle with security officers. I am not sure that is a good investment for the State of Washington.
