I dissented in the seminal case of Williamson v. Indianapolis Life Insurance Co., 741 So.2d 1057 (Ala.1999), upon which the main opinion principally relies. Because Williamson is now the settled law of this State, and not because I agree with it, I concur in the main opinion.
