concurring: I concur in the majority’s interpretation of K.S.A. 2013 Supp. 44-706(a) because it is consistent with tire public policy expressed by the Kansas Legislature in K.S.A. 2013 Supp. 44-702. But I do not believe it is necessary to find tire language of the statute to be ambiguous to reach this conclusion. I also agree that Johnson should not be disqualified from receiving unemployment compensation based on the unique circumstances presented in this action. It is important to recognize, however, that the question of whether a person has voluntarily left work without good cause is normally one of fact to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
