On May 17, 2022, the trial court issued findings of fact and conclusions of law and denied the application for writ of habeas corpus. Appellant now seeks to appeal the order denying habeas corpus relief. Jurisdiction to grant post-conviction habeas corpus relief in felony cases rests exclusively with the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Tex. Code Crim. Proc. , 717– 18 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.] 2001, orig. proceeding). Accordingly, we are without jurisdiction to grant the requested relief. Therefore, this appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.
